Your goal may be weight loss. but what you are actually wanting to achieve is a smaller you. And that means tightening and toning the muscles to give you the shape you are after. And those muscles weigh more than fat. So, don't weigh yourself. You may decrease clothes size but not be that much lighter. Much better is to put a tape measure around your waist (belly button) and see the cm decrease.
